WRAP-UP: TWA Hotel Hard Hat Tour: Oct. 30, 2018

On October 30, 2018, the SCA hosted an exclusive members only pop-up hard hat tour of the new TWA Hotel at JFK Airport in Jamaica, NY. The hotel’s lobby is the original TWA Terminal, designed in 1962 by Eero Saarinen (of St. Louis Arch fame), faithfully restored. The new hotel will include 50,000 square feet of first-class event

In 2018, SCA members and guests traveled to the Philadelphia area for a terrifyingly terrific tour! We joined the crowd at Blobfest, an annual festival that celebrates the original 1958 camp classic, THE BLOB. We then headed west along the historic Lincoln Highway through Amish Country to the quirky Haines Shoe House.
