White Tower / Fuze Box

The only remaining of its type in the area, this former White Tower was constructed in the late 1930s at Washington near swan,
opposite the Alfred E. Smith State Office Building. It was moved to its present site in the early 1960s for construction of an office building on the site. It ceased operation as a White Tower in the early 1980s and was used as a luncheonette for a few years. It is currently used as the entrance to a larger bar, the QE2, and retains virtually all its original interior details.
